It’s October!
Full disclosure, I realized yesterday (Thursday), that I hadn’t been any further from my house than my driveway (to roll out the garbage cans) SINCE MONDAY!!!!!
I work from home and it’s senior crunch time leading up to November 1st deadlines, so I’ve been in Zoom-city in back-to-back meetings and reviewing essays like a boss.
Emerging like a mole from my COVID-free application land, Hubs and I went out for dinner like normal humans (Well with masks. And we sat outside freezing. But close enough), and it was lovely.
We also found time earlier this month to celebrate our sweet girl on her 25th birthday. Pictured above with the cool pumpkins and gourds we found at Sauvie Island.
So in addition to hitting Nov. 1st dead lines in a timely manner, seniors are also finishing up the FAFSA and CSS Profile (if required). Juniors are starting to dig deeper into exploration of schools, majors, careers, and interests. And Freshmen and Sophomores are getting a solid foundational start to high school, being mindful and intentional in class and with their spare time.
